Quick review of the last two months:
- National Training Event (7-11 Dec) was great. Con Campbell spoke well from John's gospel on the God-Man Jesus Christ, and Richard Chin spoke well from the Psalms. I led a strand group teaching first-timers at NTE the skills in preparing and giving a Bible talk. Praise God for the many who came to this edifying conference.
- I took a group of students on mission to Narrabri (7 hours north-west of Sydney, 11-16 Dec) in partnership with the local Anglican church. It was a time of trying new things, serving in very practical ways, with much thankfulness and joy. Thank God for the church, who looked after us so well, and for the team, who worked really well together.
- I had a bit of a holiday! A few days in Kiama with my brother and a mutual friend, and a week with immediate family driving around Victoria. Praise God for giving us time to rest together.
- I went to CMS Summer School conference (4-10 Jan). Andrew Reid spoke well from the book of Exodus. It was both challenging and encouraging to hear from missionaries stories from the field and exhortations to pray and consider going. Pray for missionaries around the world, and pray for more workers in God's harvest field.
